The Council on Alcohol and Drugs together with Georgia Law Enforcement introduce Statewide “Operation Drug Drop Off” Effort

ATLANTA - - As stated by the CDC and Prevention (CDC), “One U.S. citizen passes away every nineteen minutes at the hands of prescription drug abuse in this country.” Many professionals inside the industry involving medical prescription (Rx) and also over the counter (OTC) substance abuse prevention feel that the number of deaths as a result of these medications will lower resulting from counties having a protected and practical resource to get rid of out of date Rx and Over-the-counter drugs.
